Travelling lecture

      On December 29, Professor Ning Cunzheng brought us a seminar on Semiconductor Nanolasers: From Metallic and Plasmonic Cavities to Monolithic White Lasers, and the seminar ended successfully.

     The talk officially started at 2:00 pm. First of all, Professor Hu Xiaolong expressed his warm welcome to Professor Ning Cunzheng and introduced the academic background of Professor Ning briefly to the members of the association.

     In the warm applause of everyone, Professor Ning Cunzheng started the report entitled Semiconductor Nanolasers: From Metallic and Plasmonic Cavities to Monolithic White Lasers.

     Professor Ning Cunzheng first introduced OSA and its recent development. After that, he gave a detailed introduction of his research. Professor Ning explained the profound theories in a very simple term, so teachers and students were deeply attracted to it.

    After an hour’s report, everyone was very interested in the content of Professor Ning Cunzheng’s explanation and put forward questions. Professor Ning Cunzheng made a lively discussion with the teachers and students. After the report was over, the teachers and students who presented the lecture took a group photo.
